h Havering College and CEME, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) on Tour is an interactive educational experience set to inspire the students of the borough.
This specially created Tour will offer over 1000 secondary school students the unique opportunity to try some of the best technology across STEM fields. There’ll be a range of engaging and challenging activities that will help Students discover how STEM concepts are applied in the real world. These activities include engineering problem solving using mechanical structures, games design with coding for more able learners, robotic engineering and more, plus students will also be able to try out the latest technology including VR headsets.
STEM on Tour will be launched on the 25th of October by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan at CEME, the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence, Marsh Way, Rainham. This is an exclusive educational experience open only to students studying in the borough. Personal invites will be send to local schools with-in the next few weeks.
